Phnom Penh: Dr. Tay Christopher, an award winner of IFAH Top 100 International Healthcare Leaders–is now joining a newly established international standard hospital, The Prestige Hospital, to help contribute to Cambodia’s healthcare sector.
Dr. Tay Christopher, born in Singapore, has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry and played an important role at one of the most well-known hospitals in Singapore during the SARS crisis in 2003.
With a strong will and a vision of improving the welfare of the Cambodian people, Dr. Christopher decided to be a leader and CEO of The Prestige Hospital together with many other specialists and doctors from Singapore, France, U.S., and Canada.
Prior to joining the Prestige Hospital, Dr. Christopher worked as COO at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and CEO in many health institutions including Tan Tock Seng Hospital, NTUC Healthcare Group, Jackson Pharma, Cyrus Healthcare Group, and also as a member of the Healthcare Committee of Singapore Government.
Dr. Christopher said “With years of healthcare and business experiences, I firmly believe I can contribute not only to TPH but to the Cambodia Community in many areas too. Let’s do good together for a much better Cambodia!”
Dr. Christopher added that the services and standards being brought to Cambodia “will be the international and Singapore approach of healthcare delivered by the best doctors and nursing professionals using the latest equipment and technology available to us.”
TPH, set to open on March 28, 2020, was founded in 2019 with a set-forward vision as a world-class hospital that will lead private healthcare in Cambodia.
